The Farm

We went to thanksgiving point farm with Nicole and her 2 girls McKynlee and Bailey and Jana and her 3 boys Justice,Talon and Cardon. The kids had a lot of fun running from one animal to the next. They even got a pony ride. Ryker was a little nervous but I just put him up there and he was fine for the first 2 rounds then he started crying saying "mommy I get of "

Getting excited !!!

Our family is getting so excited for Disneyland. I think Chace and I are just ready to get out of town . Our family loves Disneyland and will go any chance we get.Besides it's the happiest place on earth didn't ya know. There is not a day that goes by that Chace and I don't talk about Disneyland to Ryker. The last time we were there was December 2007 (8 months ago) that's what Chaces parents gave all of us for Christmas. It was fun having every one there at the same time.

Ryker has a good memory and remembers the Buzz light year ride,the dumbo,jungle cruse,it's a small world and I better not forget pirates. We are hoping Ryker will be tall enough to ride splash mountain. You have to be 40" to ride and he is 39 1/2" with shoes on,I guess we need to find him taller shoes!!

We are going with Chaces parents his bro Devan and his wife Nicole and there 2 girls McKynlee and Baylie. My sis Jill and hubby are flying to meet us. It will be a lot of fun and I can't wait to get out of here! as if you couldn't tell I have a count down ...

Little buddy

I love these pictures!!! We have so much fun with our little man. He makes us laugh every day. We love his fun personality and the joy he brings to our family and every one he's around. Chace and I just look at him and think how lucky we are to have Ryker in our lives and how greatful we are to be his parents.We love you little buddy

{Potty training}

We have been potty training Ryker for 3 weeks now.It started one day I asked him if he wanted to go pee pee in the toilet (and he usually says "no thank you")but that one day he said to me "I stand up?"so I cind of laughed and said ok let's try.From that day on he has done great with it and now will even go in by him self(of course I'm watching over his shoulder so he doesn't forget to miss the target) . It has been a struggle how ever with getting him to go #2 like most kids I think he is just scared but he is starting to get it I hope. I bought this cute step stool so he could wash his own hands,he thinks it's pretty cool. We are so proud of Ryker and love him very much. What a BIG BOY!!!

{New calling}

So I was called to be the new secretary in the Relief Society presidencie in my ward. It seems a little crazy to me and I am a little nervous about it but people keep telling me that I will do a good job,thanks I hope so. The main thing that makes me the most nervous is having to teach adult women yikes!!! good thing it's only once every 4 months (but still !!!)

So if any of you have any tips for me on teaching in front of people I would appreciate it .

Water slide fun

My neighbor Jen was nice and set up her fun water slide pool. Last year when she got it out Ryker would only stand in the water at the bottom and play. But this year he was climbing up and going down the slide all by himself, he had a blast!!!! Thanks Jen for a fun afternoon. Here is a video clip of Ryker going down the water slide. Bert & Clara Peteson Reunion

Ever year we look forward to this reunion. It is nice being able to see everyone and to sit and visit. People travel from Wyoming and Colorado for this special occasion. Rob went and got Grandma Smith to join in on the fun, after all it is because of her that we all are here.

They had a magician come and he was aw some!!! he did a act with just the adults and fooled us all. He was so good at what he dose. Then he did a act with all the kids and got them involved in his acts, he was really cute with them. Every one had a great time together. After the magician was through we had a really good pot luck dinner with all sorts of yummy salads and desserts .
