EASTER 2012

The Easter bunny left a basket full of filled eggs with a note that said he ran out of time to hide the eggs and wanted Ryker & Jenacee's mom and dad to hide them . We went to Grandma Opal's sacrament meeting with her then we went back to our church for the last 2 meetings. Jenacee went to nursery for the first time and did really well I hope she continues that.

 So after church we did a little egg hunt in our backyard. It was fun seeing Jenacee on her first real egg hunt and her big brother helping her find her eggs:) love my cute little kids.

What a great Easter we had our kids got way to spoiled by EB and there grandma's and grandpa. We had a good time with the Peterson family and missed grandma and grandpa Jorgensen Easter day with them being out of town for the weekend . We have the best family in the hole wide world my kids are so lucky :)

{ EaStEr DaY 2011 }

Our 2 Sweethearts Ryker & Jenacee Easter morning before we went to church , So adorable:) Love them .

*Ryker woke up Easter morning and yelled out from his room "Mom there's Jelly beans in my room" I guess the Easter bunny left his droppings behind I yelled back to him :) Ryker got out of bed and yelled "There's more Mom & Dad" We got out of bed to see Rykes excitement . There was a trail in the hall way and down the stairs of Bunny droppings (Jelly beans:)

*Soon Ryker ended up down in the front room to where his and Jenacee's Easter baskets sat on the coffee table filled with goodies from the Easter Bunny .

*Jenacee had a ball rolling around on the floor while Ryker went hunting around the house for there Eggs .

*We ate a yummy Ham dinner down to my Grandma RaVaes house with most of my cousins , Aunts and Uncles, Jill , Rylan , Kash and my parents. We sure love and miss Grandpa Paul this Easter Holiday :( Dumie me didn't take any pictures while I was down there I must have been having to much fun to think about it :)

*From my grandmas we headed strait to Hollies house to finish the rest of the day with the Peterson's . There grandma Opal did a BIG egg hunt for all 19 grand kids , they look forward to it every year.

* Sense Grandpa Rob died we have let balloons off every Holiday , It's something special that we all look forward to :) We love and miss him very much .

Ryker ~ Kynlee ~ Baylie had a fun time coloring EaStEr EgGs at grandma Opals this year. I loved to see them get all excited about choosing there EgG colors and then waiting to see how they turned out !!!! After the kids were done we added Jenacee & Mackley to the mix for a picture :) I LOVE EASTER !!!

Like last year Ryker wanted to color EaStEr EgGs at grandma Mel's again . This year we had 2 more names to add to the colorful EgGs Jenacee & Kash .

EaStEr 2010

Traditional Easter egg hunt at grandma and grandpa Peterson's... We pulled up to there house and eggs and candy were scattered all over the grass and a few eggs were hidden and Ryker says "That's not a very good hiding job" and he just shakes his head Chace and I just laughed. With 16 grand kids it's kind of hard to hide all the eggs and candy in good hiding spots LOL! The kids had a fun time finding there eggs with there names on it . Thanks grandma and grandpa !


It's that time again to color eggs. Saturday before Easter we went to my moms house and had home made chicken noodle & chili soup and yummy hot rolls:) Then we colored eggs. Ryker had to write his own name on one of the eggs, Jill and Chace got into it too !


Ryker wasn't feeling to good Easter morning as you can see in the pictures. That morning he woke up at 7 so I took him downstairs to get some medicine then I was going to put him back to bed. Well not thinking as we were walking down the stairs he noticed on the couch that the Easter bunny had came. His eyes got all big and he ran right over to his basket and picked up his Mickey mouse and gave it a hug. So there was no going back to sleep now :( so Ryker woke up dad to have him come down to see him find his eggs that the Easter bunny had hide. The first thing Ryker wanted to do after finding his eggs was to watch his new Chipmunks movie ..

Later that day we went to my mom and dads and ate Easter dinner we had ham,rolls,chips and dips and lots of yummy salads. I loved that conference was on Easter this year it was so nice to relax eat some yummy food watch conference and spent time with family.

The Easter Bunny gave Ryker this T-Ball stand and bat to help him get some practice in before he starts playing Itty bitty ball next month..

We had a good Easter day ,we had dinner @ grandma and grandpa Petersons and a egg hunt. Ryker was cute running around grandma and grandpas yard to the eggs that had his name on them..

We started our night of coloring eggs by baking some bunny sugar cookies.Ryker had fun helping me place them on the cookie sheet.... then we started on coloring our eggs. Ryker was a lot of help if you know what I mean.... he wanted to put the eggs in all by his self we just had to keep telling him he had to do it softly so it wouldn't SPLASH all over !!! he did a good job.. He also had fun coloring on the eggs before they got colored. We put his name on a couple of the eggs and he thought that was cool to see his name on a egg....

My Mom wanted to do a egg hunt for the kids before Paige and Isaac went home on Sunday. It's so fun seeing Ryker running around trying to find the eggs with his initial "R" on it, he's getting to big.

Ryker is getting to be a pro at this egg finding thing. He had 13 eggs to find at grandma and grandpa P's house. Ryker is the 12th grandchild out of 16 ,so it was fun to see all the grand kids running around trying to find the eggs that had there name on them.
Ryker was fun to watch this year ,he got so excited when mom and dad showed him where his eggs were . He is such a ham every time I got the camera ready to take a picture of him he automatically says cheese mommy!
We did the egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter at grandpa and grandma P's.
For Easter Sunday we went to grandpa and grandma J's for dinner .It was such a good day we took Ryker's bike over and pushed him all around grandma's house.

My mom wanted to have a Easter egg hunt for the kids before Paige and Isaac went home. Easter is early this year(march) a little cold but it warmed up enough to hunt for eggs. The kids had a lot of fun. It was fun watching Ryker run to the eggs when he spoted them . Last years egg hunt at grandma Opals he wasn't even walking yet (well with our help). That is so crazy to me,he is getting so big I can't stand it .
After the kids found there eggs they sat down to color some eggs of there own. It was a little messy but they had fun.
