Disneyland Over Load (February 2012)

We were all excited when Grandma Opal planned to take us all to Disneyland for our Christmas 2011 but we waited to go in February 2012 . She paided for our hotel @ Park Place ( Right across the street ) and our Disneyland tickets. Thanks so much Grandma Opal it was a blast !! I have a ton of pictures so sorry if this post is a little LONG......:)

In Loving Memory

My dear sweet Grandma Jorgensen will be missed by all who knew her. I got asked to give her life sketch and at first I was a little hesitant and nervous I've never spoke at a funeral before . But I felt really strong about it and knew it was me who was meant to do this for my grandma and that it would be the last thing I could do for her in this life. 3 days of calling and talking to family members about story's they had of grandma finally I finished piecing it all together with the help of my mom and sister . I felt more at piece with doing this hard thing for my grandma . The day had come and I got up there and relayed my grandma's life sketch with confidence without breaking down to my surprise I DID IT !!!

I will love and miss you always Grandma !!

Me standing with my grandma's brother, he was the baby of the 9 children and my grandma was the 8th . Reed is now the only one left . He's such a good guy I wanted a picture with him because who knows when I'll see him again (even though he lives a couple blocks away from my grandma)

Fun at the park

Spring break is here and so it was nice weather so off to the park we went !

I can tell all summer we will be outside both Ryker and Jenacee didn't want to leave the park if it were up to them they would stay all day . It wares me out to have to chase Jenacee all around, looks like I'm in for it this summer that's for sure !!

We were over to Opal's having dinner and Chace mowed her lawn . Then Chace's sister Calee called Opal to see if she was home to stop by for a minute. A few minutes later Calee and Ivy came in the with 2 pint jars of fresh tulips and gave them to Opal . It was Opal and Rob's Anniversary (would have been 42 years) It was so sweet of Calee she's always thinking she got the Mickey & Minnie pins at Disneyland when we were there in February . Opal of course shed a few tears. Then we road up to the cemetery to take Rob's flowers :) 

10 Year Anniversary !!

Wow I have been married for ten years !!! It feels so weird to say that because 10 years is a mile stone
and honestly it dose not feel like it's been 10 years.
I love Chace more today then the day I married him . We have been through a lot together these past 10 years. We've watched each other grow and have learned so much about each other it's been quite a ride but worth every minute. I think about that song by Blake Shelton "God gave me you for the ups and downs " and I am so glad god gave me Chace, there's no one else who I'd rather be with on this journey of life with :) Thank you sweetheart for the last 10 years I love you so much.

Grandma Smith Funeral

Chaces Grandma Smith was such a sweet , kind women. Memories I have of her are ....

* She made the best potato salad ever!!

* She was a frequent shopper at Broadbents , Everything in her house pretty much was from there.

* In her last days of driving she would drive down to Rob & Opals rather it was for Sunday dinner or just to visit she would park so close to other cars that she would even bump into them!!! needless to say we were always afraid for our cars.

* When she lived at home she would have Christmas Eve dinner in her basement with who ever could make it .

* She has a amazing Christmas village that she set up in her front room along one wall on card tables. She had 2 0r 3 deer she would put somewhere in the village for the grand kids to find ( Chace always enjoyed that even as he got older :)

She especially loved being around her 4 children, grand kids & great grand kids.

She loved when Rob would come get her every Saturday afternoon to go grab a burger and go for a drive:)

She had so many beautiful flowers .

We will miss grandma Smith very much and her soft spoken Spirit will live in our hearts forever:)

Grandpa Rob's Birthday

The month of June has been a hard month for all of us Petersons . Celebrating Fathers Day , Lehi days and most of all Rob's Birthday has been pretty tough without him . The hole first year of not Having My father in law around has been really hard.

On Rob's birthday we all got together at a park in Lehi and had Costco pizza , ice cream and garden cupcakes that Chaces sister Calee made in honer of grandpa Rob's love for gardening:) (She's so crafty I don't know were she gets all her free time :)

After the park we went up to Grandpa's grave were we sang Happy Birthday and let birthday balloons off . The colors of the balloons were Blue and Purple (Rob & Opals wedding colors)

This has been a great tradition that we have done every Holiday this first year . I hope we keep it up because the kids have so much fun doing it .

With every ones busy schedules we finally figured out a day to get together for pictures for Opals mothers day gift.. We had My sister Jill come snap a few shots for us at Clark's parents orchard, thanks Jill they turned out great:)

It was such a nice, warm day out the other day so we thought perfect for some outside pictures with grandma Mel :)

My mom's neighbors house had some pretty tulips in there yard so we snapped a few pictures there LOL :)

The Grand kids all adore there Grandma Mel . She is a amazing Mom and Grandma who would do anything for you ....Love you MOM :)

St. Patricks Day - Jenacee 6 months

After making Pink heart shaped pancakes for Valentine's day I thought it would be fun again to do GREEN pancakes for St. Patricks day , Ryker loved it :) Later that day we went to grandma Mels to hang out . Ryker had fun making sure everyone was waring GREEN that day. Later that evening we stopped in at Grandma Opal's .

I Can't believe my baby is a half year old already !!!

She is starting to blow bubbles and after she dose it she laughs at herself it's so cute it makes me laugh back at her. She has even started blowing bubbles while we feed her baby food (NOT SO CUTE LOL) We can't get enough of this little girl she brings so much joy to our lives .
