Disneyland Over Load (February 2012)

We were all excited when Grandma Opal planned to take us all to Disneyland for our Christmas 2011 but we waited to go in February 2012 . She paided for our hotel @ Park Place ( Right across the street ) and our Disneyland tickets. Thanks so much Grandma Opal it was a blast !! I have a ton of pictures so sorry if this post is a little LONG......:)

Fun at the park

Spring break is here and so it was nice weather so off to the park we went !

I can tell all summer we will be outside both Ryker and Jenacee didn't want to leave the park if it were up to them they would stay all day . It wares me out to have to chase Jenacee all around, looks like I'm in for it this summer that's for sure !!

Sea World

Sunday morning we got up early and headed to Sea World .

It was Ryker & Jenacee's first time . We had a good time going to all the different show's

Universal Studios Califorina

It has FINALLY come ... on our way to Disneyland with the hole Peterson clan (It was our Christmas from Grandma Opal:) . Our family Devan & Nicoles family and Grandma Opal left a day before all the others. Kids were all pumped and excited to get on the road we only made it to about Santaquin and Ryker says "Mom are we almost there?" I looked at Chace and said really it's already starting ha ha what a LONG ride this is going to be . We stopped in St.George for lunch then back on the road.  Our next destination was Primm Nevada where we stayed the night. We woke up early the next day to make it to Universal Studios Hollywood at a good time sense it closed at 5.. We still had to stop a lot for potty breaks and diaper changes but we finally made it after a long ride in the car of " Are we there yet??"

It's been quite a few years sense I've been back to Universal and was sad to hear that the ET ride was no longer there! with that said we had fun going on the Jurassic park,Simpson's and the Mummy ride. We even hit a few cool shows Water World, Shrek 3D, behind the Sean's and the tram ride. I love seeing the excitement in Ryker, Kynlee, Baylie and even the babies Jenacee and Mackley when we came in sight of CHARACTERS ... even though Jenacee didn't want to get to close she still liked to see Her Dora and would wave to her :) so cute. Ryker's favorite characters that we saw were Hop and Shrek. We had a 2 day pass to Universal Studios and so on our way home from Disneyland we hit it again but this time grandma Opal didn't come with us:(

We spent a lot of time getting all the kids pictures drawn into cartoons . We all used the same guy he did a amazing job on all the pictures:) I'm sure his had was tired by the time he was through:) We even decided between us and Devan & Nicole to surprise Grandma Opal with one of her and Rob. He used my phone to look at the picture on Opal's face book. I think it turned out so cute and looks just like them. When we gave it to her she cried she LOVED it !!!

The Zoo back in July

A fun day at the zoo with some of the Peterson crew . It was nice that Chace could come with us this time sense all the other times we've been to the zoo he's working . I liked that the zoo now has Dinosaur stuff , it makes it fun for the kids.

Ryker & Jenacee had fun watching the Elephants , the baby one was so dang cute :)

It's crazy to me how big Ryker is getting we have him stand by these every time we come . It's fun to look back from past years to see how he's grown .

We needed to take a brake in the shade a few times because it was soooooo hot !!

After the zoo we went to this yummy pizza place. With Chace working in Salt Lake a lot he's been here a few times and has been telling me he would take me sometime on a date...Well as you see we never made it on a date yet LOL !! It's in the basement of a building and it was a nice cool place for us all to cool off after a HOT day at the zoo. It was really yummy and can't wait to go back again on a "Date" with my hubby .

After this we were all on our way to Wyoming to a family wedding :)

Splash Time !!!!

Jenacee and Kash had a blast splashing in the "Baby pool" at grandma Mel's and big brother Ryker tryed to get in with them but there was no room he didn't like swimming by himself in his big pool on the lawn. Jenacee kept trying to crawl out of the pool she's a busy little girl that's for sure..

Every year for Lehi round up we go to all three parades up the road from grandma Opals house on main street. After Saturday's parade we went down to grandma Opals and had a BBQ - Swim party. Calee brought this little blow up pool and it barley fit Jenacee and Evan but hey they still loved it squished and all :)

All the other grand kids played in the sprinklers and the slip and slide.

I LOVE these fun summer days :)

DiNoSaUr PaRk

We had a really fun day at the Dinosaur park with all the Peterson cousins:)

Fun filled week

While the kids were out of school for spring break my sister in laws and I decided to take the kids to the Living planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was so crowded but the kids still had a fun time.

Look at all the creepy creatures !!!The top left picture was a octopus's so weird looking . Some of the kids were brave enough to touch the stingrays.. The kids loved seeing the cute penguins swim and jump up on platforms then back to the water.


Our weekend was spent at the sand Dunes with my Sister inlaws family,they go every year the weekend after Easter for the Roper reunion.. a lot of people just come on Saturday for the day 113 people total came out to play..My mom and dad also came down for the day Saturday to play with the Grandkids. I'm just glad they let us tag along for the last 2 years:)




The kids loved being out side riding 4-wheelers, playing in the sand in the nice warm weather. Then the stupid wind had to pick up and that was a mess with the sand!!!!



Our friends Tom and Sarah live in Oak City which was only 5 min from were we were camped so we road over to see there little cute house for the first time then they fallowed us back to camp and had dinner with us..

{ CiRcUs FuN }

Our good friends Tom & Sarah invited us to go to the Circus with them. Before the circus we went to Red Robin and ate Chace and I have never been there before we thought it was pretty good:) Ryker loved seeing the circus animals do there tricks and most of all he loved the motorcycles ride in that small metal ball it was crazy I don't know how they don't crash into each other!!

SnOw FuN !!!

Ryker and dad were having some fun in the snow. They tryed making a snow man but the snow was to soft so they decided to try to have a snow ball fight ! Ryker thought that was funny:) Then they decided to have some fun with the sleigh and 4-wheeler.
Ryker loved it!! We made sure to buy a sleigh early this year because in past years they sell out so fast !!! and I'm glad we did:)

* WHAT A GREAT DAY *

To start of the day I went to the man made Herriaman beach.. My sister in law Nicole brang our family here a couple weeks ago and I forgot my camera. So I'm back again with some friends and my sister in law Jamie and her kids. We had a good time Ryker loved playing in the sand and water. It was really hot that day so we didn't stay long...Can't wait to go back again...

My Awesome husband and his friend Tom surprised Sarah and I with George Strait concert tickets. The last time George came to Utah was 10 years ago so when I heard he was coming again I wanted to go sooooo bad.. because he is one of my all time favorite country singers



Before the concert started Sarah and I went down to the merchandise counter and I got a really cute black and pink hat that says "George Strait" on the front and I got Chace a white plaid one. We got back and sat down at our spot on the grass and Chace noticed my sister in law Jamie and her husband Scott sitting 5 feet away from us. We knew they were going but didn't expect to actually see them!! We were laughing about it so we snapped a picture with them.


The concert was awesome Julianne Huff and Blake Shelton came out before George they did a good job. But George by far was the best part!!! he sounded really good and looked good to!! he sang some of his older songs(which I loved) along with his newer songs. So thanks to my sweet husband for the best surprise ever I love you !!!

{ PG FIRE STATION }

Last Friday my friends Jana and Megan invited Ryker and I to go the PG fire station. I had a few extra kids that day and thought it would be fun for them to get out of the house and so something fun. Ryker loved being up close to the BIG fire truck. The firemen were really good with the kids,they walked all around the truck explaining things on the truck and they even talked about fire safety (which was a plus!). Afterwards the firemen pulled out the fire truck for us to get some pictures by it

After we left the fire station we went to the discovery park and ate our sack lunch and let the kids run wild for a while. Thanks girls it was fun.

{ Neighborhood Fun }

You know it's summer time when my neighbor gets out her BIG blow up water slides. She had 2 this year. This one was the biggest it had 3 slides.

Ryker and Alivia are having a blast!!! Thanks Jen for putting up with all us neighbors your the best !!!! I do have some pretty fun neighbors though they keep Ryker and I busy all summer long...

Ryker would stay out all day if I would let him he had so much fun... we only had to go next door to have a good old summer time fun !
