MAJOR UPDATE

My life has been crazy these last few months and my blog has fallen behind... to start off the month of July was a month that changed our lives forever. My Father in law Rob got diagnosed with colon cancer on July 6Th it was such a shock to us all mostly because he didn't feel or act sick. After some testing he was able to do kemo because the cancer had not yet reached his lungs . A few days later my Grandpa Jorgensen passed away on July 9 he will be missed dearly by all who loved him. I will miss his blue eyes and his funny personality and his story's. He was always so loving and a joy to be around , I have many good memories of my grandpa Sam that I will cherish forever...





Without going into much detail because it is a long story after Rob's first Kemo treatment he became so sick and his body was so full of infection he passed away July 25 2010 . As hard as it was to let him go we know he's not suffering any more. I believe he is still with us today and every day. Rob will truly be so missed by all of us and all who was lucky to know him.

Rob and Opal were inseparable they did everything together. They worked in the same building in Provo so they road to work together and went to lunch every day together then of course road home together. Even when they weren't working they still went everywhere together. Going to Disneyland is a all the time thing in our family any time some one in the family was going Rob and Opal would be there ready to go along. And even when no one was going Rob and Opal would go just the 2 of them . There favorite thing to do was to buy a treat and find a bench and people watch LOL... We were lucky to have gone with Rob and Opal for our first time to Disney World January 2009. Rob and Opal were the prefect example of how I want to be with my spouse.

Rob was a really good cook.. he was the cook in the national guard, my dad remembers his cooking when he was in the guard. Robs specialties were his spaghetti and my most favorite was his gravy :)

Rob gave himself the name "GRUMPY" all on his own by buying a "GRUMPY" fanny pack. Rob by far was no "GRUMPY" that's what makes it so funny . Rob used that fanny pack on Disneyland trips to carry around the camera, he loved to take pictures especially of the grand kids having a good time. This picture is of Rob on Christmas last year (2009) with his "GRUMPY" sweater that Opal gave him and the stuffed animal Devan and Nicole gave him. Rob by far was no "GRUMPY" he tryed to be but deep down he was a softy. Rob was really good at holding a strait face when he teased but I could always tell when he wasn't serious:)

Awesome grumpy floral arrangement

Rob and Opal came camping with us on memorial weekend 2010. We went to Oak City were our friends Tom and Sarah live. Scott ,Susan , Tyson and Kaycee also went camping with us ,we all had a really good time. chace was surprised when Rob wanted to take his motorcycle for a spin sense it had been a long time sense Rob had been on one . Rob was a pro he was like a little kid :)

At 37 weeks I had a amniocentesis done to see if her lungs were ready if they are they were going to start me a few days later. Well our baby girl was not quite done cooking her lungs were not mature the number had to be 50 or higher and her number was 35!!! so they put me off a week. On the morning of September 23 I got up and jumped in the shower and while I was in the shower the hospital called and Chace answered they told him that we needed to be at the hospital at 9:15 am . I had a little over a hour to get ready . I was glad the nurse said I could have something small for breakfast before I came so I had a small bowl of cereal and we were off

The waiting game ......Fun ,Fun I'm glad my mom brought Ryker by the hospital to see me :)

From start to finish was a little over 8 hours and I only had to push for 2 minutes:)

Welcome to the world our sweet angel Jenacee born at 5:44 pm September 23, 2010

After she was born they layed her on my belly so I could get a good look at my sweet girl .. It was so emotional seeing and hearing her cry for the first time ..

I had a awesome doctor who took really good care of me my hole pregnancy and did a great job delivering her

Ryker was so cute when her saw his little sister for the first time he had the biggest grin on his face when he came walking in with his dad. Then we sat him up on the bed and let him meet his new baby sister that he had waited a long time for ...his first words were "aww she's so cute" It was truly a moment I'll never forget ...I love my 2 babies

Then we let everyone in after our little family had a moment... everyone couldn't believe all her full head of dark hair !!!!

She cleans up pretty dang cute :) I love all her hair, big brother had blond hair and not as much .

I love my little family ... Jenacee already has her dad wrapped around her little finger :)



After spending 2 nights in the hospital were ready to go home ....

We are so happy that Jenacee is appart of our family I feel so blessed to have had 2 heathy babies with the count of my Lupus . Our family loves her very much especially her BIG BROTHER .

UpDaTe

I wanted to give a quick update . We have had a fun busy summer so far .Ryker stays busy playing with his neighbor buddy's riding bikes, scooters and swimming in his pool in the front yard. He is still doing awesome riding his bike without training wheels :) We have been on a few camping trips this summer with family and hope to go a few more times before baby comes :) Chace is keeping busy at work I'm so thankful for that . I'm doing well I'm 29 weeks along and baby girl is growing and doing awesome. I go in once a month for ultrasounds and last week she is one oz away from weighing 3 pounds :) she moves ALL THE TIME I'm glad for that reassurance ... we are about ready to paint her room I just need to go pick out the paint :) the nesting begins she will be here before we know it :)

BYE BYE TRAINING WHEELS !!!!!

One day Chace and I decided to take off Ryker's training wheels well that didn't go over well with Ryker he was so mad and said" he wasn't going to ride it then!!!" we finally got him to try it and he was so nervous that his dad was going to let go but dad promised he wouldn't......we they only got as far as the neighbors and Ryker said he was tired and didn't want to ride it any more..So we tryed it again the next day and same thing he got tired (we just think he didn't care enough to keep trying it ) so we let him be and thought when he's ready we'll try it again....

3 days later Ryker came in the house yelling for me to come watch him ride our neighbor girls bike (mind it was a lot smaller bike than Rykers) So I thought he's just riding hers with the training wheels on but no I go out to watch him get on her bike with NO TRAINING WHEELS and take off !!!! I clapped and told him good job:) then I asked who helped him and he said "no one I did it by my self!" it was so crazy to me that he just did it ..Then I asked him to try his bike and he said no I like this one because it's little.. that didn't last only 30 min then he ran into our garage and hoped on his bike and again took off!!!!! I had to call Chace and he couldn't believe it either. I am so proud of Ryker for trying something by him self that terrified him.

It's amazing the control he has for just starting out way to go Ryker!!! Our little boy is getting so big I can't hardly stand it:( we love you so much:)

Oh Baby

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!

We found out on Thursday that were having a bouncing baby GIRL!!! We are so happy that everything is going so well ,baby is growing and getting so big ..Ryker at first wanted a baby brother but he is happy now that it's a baby sister:) he's so cute when he talks to my belly I just love it ... he says he loves her and wants her to come out to play . It will be so fun to have one of each to spoil in there own fun ways ha ha :) can't wait to start shopping for this sweet baby girl, what a blessing she is to our family .

DisneyLand April 2010

It feels like we were just here ...Oh wait we were just here in September(2009) just 6 months ago

This year at Disneyland I'm prego not knowing what I'm having but doctor thought it was a girl but wasn't a 100% so still bought a few girl things anyways :)

This trip was with my Mom my sister Jill and hubby Rylan and my brother Kasey and wife Karen there 4 kids Paige, Isaac, Mac & Marleigh and my Grandma Allan. My Dad was a party pooper and didn't want to come. I'm still working on him to come next time.

Fun filled week

While the kids were out of school for spring break my sister in laws and I decided to take the kids to the Living planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was so crowded but the kids still had a fun time.

Look at all the creepy creatures !!!The top left picture was a octopus's so weird looking . Some of the kids were brave enough to touch the stingrays.. The kids loved seeing the cute penguins swim and jump up on platforms then back to the water.


Our weekend was spent at the sand Dunes with my Sister inlaws family,they go every year the weekend after Easter for the Roper reunion.. a lot of people just come on Saturday for the day 113 people total came out to play..My mom and dad also came down for the day Saturday to play with the Grandkids. I'm just glad they let us tag along for the last 2 years:)




The kids loved being out side riding 4-wheelers, playing in the sand in the nice warm weather. Then the stupid wind had to pick up and that was a mess with the sand!!!!



Our friends Tom and Sarah live in Oak City which was only 5 min from were we were camped so we road over to see there little cute house for the first time then they fallowed us back to camp and had dinner with us..

EaStEr 2010

Traditional Easter egg hunt at grandma and grandpa Peterson's... We pulled up to there house and eggs and candy were scattered all over the grass and a few eggs were hidden and Ryker says "That's not a very good hiding job" and he just shakes his head Chace and I just laughed. With 16 grand kids it's kind of hard to hide all the eggs and candy in good hiding spots LOL! The kids had a fun time finding there eggs with there names on it . Thanks grandma and grandpa !


It's that time again to color eggs. Saturday before Easter we went to my moms house and had home made chicken noodle & chili soup and yummy hot rolls:) Then we colored eggs. Ryker had to write his own name on one of the eggs, Jill and Chace got into it too !


Ryker wasn't feeling to good Easter morning as you can see in the pictures. That morning he woke up at 7 so I took him downstairs to get some medicine then I was going to put him back to bed. Well not thinking as we were walking down the stairs he noticed on the couch that the Easter bunny had came. His eyes got all big and he ran right over to his basket and picked up his Mickey mouse and gave it a hug. So there was no going back to sleep now :( so Ryker woke up dad to have him come down to see him find his eggs that the Easter bunny had hide. The first thing Ryker wanted to do after finding his eggs was to watch his new Chipmunks movie ..

Later that day we went to my mom and dads and ate Easter dinner we had ham,rolls,chips and dips and lots of yummy salads. I loved that conference was on Easter this year it was so nice to relax eat some yummy food watch conference and spent time with family.
